How do I enter?

Send a 4x6 postcard with an example of a Seventeen Second Miracle handwritten on the front or back.

Have you done something nice for someone recently? Has someone done something kind and unexpected for you? Those are Seventeen Second Miracles.

See someone help an elderly woman with her groceries in the Walmart parking lot? That's a Seventeen Second Miracle.

Did you open a door for someone? Did someone help you change a tire? Did you loan a friend a few dollars for lunch? Those are Seventeen Second Miracles.

You get the idea. Now we want to read your Seventeen Second Miracles!

How many words should I use to describe my Seventeen Second Miracle?
Please describe in 17 words or less.

What else should I include on the postcard?
On the opposite side of the card from your Seventeen Second Miracle, please write your name and address as legibly as possible.

How many times may I enter?
You may send up to 17 postcards per household. Each postcard must describe a different Seventeen Second Miracle.

Must they be handwritten?
Yes, both the address and the Seventeen Second Miracle must be handwritten.

What size should they be?
All entries must be standard 4x6.

May I see other examples of Seventeen Second Miracles?
"This morning my neighbor scraped the ice off my car in the freezing cold. It was awesome!"
"I paid for the meal of the car behind me at Wendy's today."
"My daughter gave me a hug after school and said she loved me!"

Is there an age limit?
Entrants must be at least 13 years old. If winner is a minor, they must travel with a legal guardian.

How will you select a winner?
On March 17, 2012, a postcard will be selected at random and the sender will be named winner.

What else can I win?
5 semi-finalists will win an autographed copy of The Seventeen Second Miracle.

How will I know if I've won?
No later than March 19, 2012, a video will be posted at http://www.jasonfwright.com revealing the grandprize winner and runners-up.

When would the trip happen?
The trip will be scheduled at a mutually convenient time during calendar year 2012, preferably during the spring or summer months.

Will I get my postcards back?
All postcards become the property of Wright Media Productions and may be used for marketing or promotional purposes. Your personal information will not be shared.

Is there legal mumbo jumbo I should know?
Winner and guest must be legal US residents.
Travel for winner and guest will be provided from the Continental United States only.
Winner and guest must submit to a standard background check.
Grand prize is nontransferable.
Grand prize may not be redeemed for cash.
Immediate family members of Wright Media Enterprises or its agents, publishers or contractors are ineligible.
